Our Brand

Academica Group has evolved significantly from its origins 12 years ago as a market research company, to encompass marketing strategy, branding, print creative, e-community portals and web technology for the PSE sector.

The new Academica Group brand identity reflects our vision, mission and values. It is fresh and modern, professional but very approachable. It reflects simultaneously the formality of the institutions we serve, and the youthfulness of the target audiences we study.

The grey wordmark is neutral, modest, simple and understated, reflecting our research objectivity and our supporting role in the success of our clients’ brands.

The bright gold brand icon is based on the negative space around a lower-case letter ‘a’. The shape embodies the marriage of analytical thought and fluid creativity, of logical, calculated structure underlying artistic execution. It intentionally suggests the printed page of traditional marketing and research reports, while moving beyond it to suggest e-communities and Full Cycle Marketing™. It reflects our fundamental belief that creative effort must be based on solid research and strategy, but must also ultimately “break out of the box.”
