The University of Windsor has announced its support of Students Against Anti-Black Racism (SAABR), a new student group, in their campaign to hold the Windsor police service accountable for the violent interruption of an on-campus event in January. SAABR was formed in the wake of the event, which was shut down by more than 25 officers. The University has endorsed SAABR's request for the OPP to investigate the incident independently.
