Through adding the Facebook Developers application (and being added to the SkoolPool account), many of us are able to clock in every day and check how many users have added or removed SkoolPool.

Like last week, the numbers are climbing steadily, although there have been a few removals.  Our data warehouse and dashboard are still in development, since we don't have critical mass of users yet, so we don't yet have access to users directly. We can only see the profiles of users who we are friends with (mostly staff in higher ed - not students), so we can't yet see how students are using it.

We had one user get in touch with me (Melissa) through a Facebook message, to let us know about a glitch that ended up fixing itself (Thanks Rico!)  Facebook's API seems to be a little unstable, and very reliant on the standard error screen that seems to pop up everytime you push the limits of a new application.  We have also had 2 users get in touch via the Reviews board - a place on the application homepage that lets users publicly critique the application - although so far both posts have been questions, rather than reviews.

We are excited to have Tom back from the Higher Ed Web Developers conference in Rochester, and have already got a to do list ten miles long for him.  Several adds will go up on SkoolPool over the next two days, and next week we are looking at some new creative to spice up the display.
