Did Not Apply (DNA) Study

The DNA is a customized study that looks specifically at those applicants who did not apply to your institution but did apply to a program similar to one you offer and would qualify for acceptance to your institution. The respondent pool can be targeted in various ways; for example, geographic region, academic achievement, willingness to relocate, etc.

This instrument addresses the following information objectives:

  • 'Top school’ they were considering
  • Did they even consider you?
  • Are they aware of you?
  • If so, why did they choose not to apply?
  • Perceptions about admission requirements, program considerations, funding/scholarships, campus/atmosphere, future prospects
  • Impact of marketing efforts
